Dr. Neal is a Colorado native who completed the doctoral program in Educational Leadership & Change from the University of Southern California. Earlier in his career he received a master’s from Colorado State University, a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College and several certificates in leadership from Harvard University in Boston, MA.
Before taking the helm as superintendent in 2013, Dr. Neal served regionally as an Instructional Superintendent and earlier as an Executive Director of academic and operational programs for districts such as Denver Public schools and the 27J School District in Brighton, Colorado.
